Annual Farm Trip

Getting to grips

The sun shone - or at least it didn't rain - for the 5th annual schools visit to Gilston. Over 1,200 primary 6 children from local schools have now been round the Estate on a great day out and this year we even had Landward to record it all.

Supported as before by the Lumsden club from St Andrews (who fund the buses) and organised by Carole Brunton from RHET (Royal Highland Educational Trust) over 50 volunteers: farmers, local businesses, colleges and young farmers groups gave up their day to give the school children a memorable day out and learn much of what happens on a working Estate.

As ever we are indebted to them for their support and our sincere thanks from everyone at Gilston.
